One of my major projects of late has been trying to go through old movies from the 50’s to see if they are worth putting to a DVD. Because there are so many, I decided I had to view them all, etc. etc. I ended up so far with 119 snippets that I videod from the screen to my digital camera. They capture the essence of what I want to preserve for the family. So, now I have downloaded them to my computer. Next step will be to burn them to DVD. That I have to figure out yet. So, keep posted.

Two of my favorite events at church this last year were our drive through living nativity 2006 (last December)
and our Vacation Bible School program this summer “Galilee by the Sea” - Group Publishing.
We have had the Living Nativity for five years. We started out with only three scenes. This past years’ was incredible as we had a staff of over 50 people and lots of live animals. We had five sets and traveling shepherds, wisemen and village people. The weather was perfect too!! (for the mountains of NY)

I am happy to answer any questions you might have on doing the same programs in your local church.

One of my favorite things is playing in quartets and trios. We get to do this mostly for weddings.
I have been able to get around the Hudson Valley and see many resorts that I never knew were around and see the inside of many churches. It has also been a great experience seeing different religious ceremonies (and some not so).

My folks (great grandparents) came with us also.

This is my first attempt to learning how much of the world communicates. We have enjoyed reading our children’s blogs and other friends. I am hoping that this site will be used by my friends (you) to keep you informed of our life and activities.
